Young voices are important. We want to celebrate them.
Send 3-5 poems in the body of the email or in an attachment in .doc or .docx format, as well as a short bio, and a photo to TeenTuesdaysEditor@gmail.com. Feel free to send visual poetry or audio poetry, but we will need that .doc/.docx as well. Put your name in the subject line.
You may submit once every two months, from the date you last heard back from us. If we have accepted a poem of yours, please wait six months before submitting again.
Any topic is fine with us as long as it’s your best work. Read previous issues of cahoodaloodaling to get an idea of what we like—because these features will run on our Facebook page between issues, our themes won’t apply to them. The only requirements are that you’re no older than 19-years-old and that you don’t use the words “crimson,” “birdbones,” or “stardust,” as these will make us twitchy.
P.S. You have to promise you’ll keep submitting your work and being heard.
We’ll know if you fib.
