Michelle Panik lives on the edge of California, in Carlsbad, with her husband and their kids.
She’s previously worked as a publications coordinator, a freelance writer, an adult ESL teacher, and a middle- and high-school teacher. These days, she teaches her three-year-old twins to hunt for bugs and sing Indigo Girls songs.
Michelle has an MFA from the University of Maryland and a BA in Writing and Art History from UC San Diego. Her stories have been published in such journals as Alimentum, Concho River Review, Sierra Nevada Review, and SLAB.
